Volunteers are the heart of The Gathering Place, playing a vital role in our mission to restore hope and dignity to those in need. From serving meals weekly with care and compassion to tackling special projects that enhance our facility or improve the lives of our residents, their dedication makes a lasting impact. These selfless efforts not only provide practical support but also remind those we serve that they are seen, valued, and loved. Each volunteer brings unique gifts, and together, they help create a community of kindness, faith, and encouragement.

Emmaus Community Kitchen

Volunteers run the community kitchen!! Each day a group from a local church or other community organization prepares & serves a hot meal for our residents and anyone else in need who stops by. Some of these groups have been serving for years but there's always a need for you.

Whether you're an individual, a church group, a local organization, or even a business, we would love to have you join our amazing team of volunteers -- simply give us a call to check on available dates & times.  We'll get signed up to start making a difference in the lives of others (and yourself)!
