Join Us for The Coldest Night of the Year: A Walk for Warmth and Hope

Mark your calendars for February 22, 2025, at 5 PM, and join us for an evening of purpose and community as we come together for The Coldest Night of the Year. This heartfelt event serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and hurt in our community.



On this chilly evening, participants will walk in solidarity with the most vulnerable members of Georgetown, raising awareness and funds for essential services and programs that provide warmth, nourishment, and care. Every step you take will bring hope and comfort to those who need it most.

Why Walk?

Winter’s cold can be a harsh reality for those without a place to call home. The Coldest Night of the Year is more than just a walk; it’s a movement to show compassion and take action. By signing up, you’ll be contributing to programs that:

On February 22, our community came together for the Coldest Night of the Year walk, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support! Despite the chilly weather, dozens of participants joined us to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness in Georgetown, Kentucky.  A special thank you goes out to the Loyal Ladies Group, whose dedication and fundraising efforts made a tremendous impact! Their generosity and commitment to our mission helped ensure The Gathering Place can continue providing shelter, support, and hope to those in need. From all of us at The Gathering Place—thank you! Your kindness reminds us that, together, we can bring warmth and hope to our community, no matter how cold the night may be.
